Zimmer Radio and Marketing Group is seeking a passionate, energetic and creative Sales Director/Manager for our location in Jefferson City, MO.

 

  • Candidate should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be able to handle multiple tasks, creatively solve problems and be experienced in broadcast and media sales
  • The ability to manage their time and maintain high attention to detail
  • Great organization is a critical trait for this candidate to possess
  • The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of sales management, exceeding revenue goals and building a quality sales culture/team building skills

Proven track record in Broadcasting and Media Sales Preferred

Proven track record for hitting revenue goals and building a strong team culture

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Set the overall tone for the sales department in the Jefferson City Market

Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales goals for the Jefferson City Market across multiple media platforms through creative sales initiatives-radio, magazine, digital

Work alongside fellow Sales Directors and Managers to foster a positive sales environment to create a solid culture that enables sales growth in Jefferson City

Manage and maintain sales goals for the Jefferson City Team

Coach Account Executives in the Jefferson City Market to achieve maximum growth via personal and team goals

Work with Program Directors to develop sales initiatives to increase revenue

 

Minimum Requirements:

5+ years sales management experience, preferably in Media or Broadcast but not required

Consistent track record in exceeding revenue goals

Exceptional leadership, negotiation, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
