Status:  Full-Time; Exempt

The holder of this position will host one or more programs (typically 30 or 60 minutes in duration) with the purpose of teaching and discussing the Roman Catholic religion and dealing with various theological and practical questions and issues which arise in daily living.

Essential duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Serve as a key member of the Covenant Network programming editorial team in all creative discussions and initiatives;
  • Serve as on-air talent
  • Production of promotional and development spot announcements
  • Community outreach, including but not limited to personal appearances at various Catholic parishes and functions in metropolitan St. Louis.

 

Requirements for success:

 

Practicing Roman Catholic with a deep love for the Catholic faith and faithful to the Magisterial teaching of the Church who can assist with the mission of the station. Radio production/producer experience preferred. Experience working within a Catholic Radio station a plus.;

Demonstrate consistent sound judgment and professional maturity in communications and decision making, especially when faced with ambiguity;
Working knowledge of Roman Catholic theology and catechism
