Current Political Advertising Laws: What Missouri Broadcasters Must Know in 2020
November 7, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Political broadcast advertising has become an industry in and of itself, and the 2020 election has already begun to ratchet up. Join the Missouri Broadcasters Association with special guest Washington, DC Counsel Gregg Skall of Womble Bond Dickinson’s Telecom Sector for this webinar to discuss the basics of political broadcast regulation and recent current political advertising developments.
There will be a comprehensive review of the Federal Communication Commission’s political broadcasting rules and issues that broadcasters are likely to confront, such as reasonable access, equal opportunities, lowest unit charge, third party advertising, sponsorship ID, personal attack and the latest online public file requirements. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A.
