I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives:
This is a general assignment reporter position that is responsible for enterprising, writing and live reporting stories on a daily basis. The role develops and writes stories to our viewers both on-air, web, digital, and social media. Reporters are expected to be proactive in proposing and developing their stories on a daily basis.

II. Essential Job Functions:
Weight % Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results:
– 50% Enterprising, writing and reporting stories on a daily basis.
– 40% Develop and report stories both on-air, online and through other digital media.
– 10% Collaborate with news team to develop and create stories according to news management direction and station branding.

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered:
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, broadcasting, or related, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum three years related reporting experience for a broadcasting station.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Outstanding verbal, written, and reporting skills, plus I-news computer skills.
% Travel Required (Approximate):
30-50% mostly Local travel.
