Zimmer Communications is looking for an Administrative Assistant to assist in the oversight of media properties including radio, print and digital. The Administrative Assistant will report directly to the Business Manager and will be responsible for all business department duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the monthly financial close and submission of information to the Corporate office by stated deadlines
• Preparation of all monthly reports as requested by the corporate office as well as assisting the Business Manager in relaying any additional information to the corporate office as requested
• Oversight of Corporate and audit requests, working closely with Business Manager to ensure accuracy
• Accounts Payable as it relates to the day-to-day client relationship management, obtaining approvals for all client invoices, general ledger coding, and processing functions
• Work closely with Business Manager to ensure adherence to the various components of the Company’s internal accounting controls and policies, including but not limited to; revenue recognition, cash control, credit and collections
• Handling of daily cash deposit management and reporting as well as processing credit card payments as needed
• Provide information to comply with Sales & Use Tax reporting per corporate instruction as requested by Business Manager
• Monitoring and administration of all trade accounting functions alongside Business Manager
• Preparation of all commissions related to billing and collections for all properties
• Assist Business Manager with all weekly and monthly billing functions along with the end-of-month Accounts Receivable close
• Manage auxiliary tasks of other department heads as needed
• All other duties as deemed necessary by corporate or local market management
• Cover the front desk phones and duties as instructed

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of business systems such as Microsoft Office, Wide Orbit Traffic & Billing System
• Ability to multi-task, handle pressure and deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in all aspects of accounting
• Knowledge of standard office equipment
