A Powerful EEO Compliance Web Portal for Radio and Television Broadcasters Nationwide. Broadcast1Source uses a new, second-generation web portal for broadcaster compliance with EEO regulations, FCC compliance and ePIF management.

Litra Corp. Launches Broadcast1Source, A Powerful EEO Compliance Web Portal for Radio and Television Broadcasters Nationwide Litra Corp, the developer of EEO1Source, has just launched Broadcast1Source (www.broadcast1source.com), a new, second-generation web portal for broadcaster compliance with EEO regulations, FCC compliance and ePIF management.

Broadcast1Source replaces EEO1Source, the legacy portal for EEO compliance, and includes a number of new and robust features to help radio and television broadcasters maintain compliance with FCC compliance regulations.

Features

Broadcast1Source includes all of the features of EEO1Source, along with many others, all included within an easy to use web-based interface. New features in Broadcast1Source include:

  • Users can now create job templates to minimize redundancy in job posting.
  • Jobs can be posted as ‘Blind Jobs,’ so as not to inform the incumbent.
  • An alert system to inform users (by email and/or fax) of upcoming EEO Public File deadlines, reminders to notify jobs, etc.
  • EEO Public Files in a new and condensed format, with options to download and/or ePIF to website.
  • Users can conduct self audits and create detailed audit reports to “assess” their level of compliance to FCC‘s EEO regulations.
  • Build custom lists for job notifications by market, region or nationally.
  • Users can fill-in and access new and updated FCC forms directly within Broadcast1Source.
  • A new option to subscribe to ePIF management tools (see below for details).
  • Use the Broadcast1Source fax server to create and send a range of other faxes to any contacts you import into the web portal in addition to job postings to recruitment agencies.

How to Log In to Broadcast1Source

To log in to Broadcast1Source, please visit www.broadcast1source.com. To view an online training video, please click here.

Current EEO1Source subscribers have been automatically upgraded to the new online portal. They can access their account in Broadcast1Source by using the same username and password they use to log into their EEO1Source account.

EEO1Source users that are not currently subscribed to EEO1Source services, but use the free portions of that website, will be given a free 15-day period in which they can log into Broadcast1Source using their EEO1Source username and password. During this 15-day period (which will begin the first time they log into the Broadcast1Source site), these users will be able to access and save to their computer their reports and preview Broadcast1Source’s powerful feature-driven web portal and select from the Service Packs available to subscribe to. Please login to Broadcast1Source and select ‘Litera Services’ from the top menu to subscribe.

Please note that once the trial period is over, these users will need to subscribe to Broadcast1Source to access their stored information. EEO1Source will remain active until March 1, 2009, but after that date, all visitors to www.eeo1source.com will be redirected to the new site at www.broadcast1source.com.

ePIF Management

All Stations with websites are required by FCC regulations to post EEO Public Files to their websites. This can at times be cumbersome. A key aspect of Broadcast1Source is its ability to make the process of publishing EEO and all Public Files and other files to the internet in less than a minute.

While the FCC is debating a requirement for television stations to publish all and not just their EEO Public File report to the internet, some stations have already started and Broadcast1Source has simplified this process for its users.

After creating EEO Public Files or other reports, users can upload those files directly to a distinct web address (hosted by Broadcast1Source) that can be branded with their station or company’s logo. This powerful online file management and storage system enables Broadcast1Source’s users to comply with minimal cost and minimal effort.
